When we spied this Ti Humuhumu on Instagram we really had no idea what we were in for. After contacting the bikes builder at Orange Peel Bikes in Steamboat Springs, CO the photos and info started flowing though, as soon as the first detail shots arrived we started to realize just how freaking Tipocalyptic this bike was.

Brock at Orange Peel was asked by a customer to build up a ripping fun town bike, that could still handle some abuse.  The was shop given full creative control, with just a few customer requests that needed to be fulfilled. These requests were — 1.  Use as much titanium as possible  2.  Build it around a Rohloff internally geared hub  3.  Match the shape and size of the  bars to his favorites (coincidentally off of an old steel Kona Humu!)

The crew at Orange Peel Bikes are super happy with how this bike came out, especially how the dual Rohloff shift cables routed cleanly along the brake guides.

The build also features top notch accoutrements, such as a Brooks Cambium Ti railed saddle, Shimano XT brakes, Schwalbe Tires, and of course the obligatory colour matched Chris King headset and front hub. The whole thing is rounded off with Race Face cranks, and of course Kona Wah Wah pedals.
