Kona ambassadors in eastern Canada and the USA really soaked up the fall colors this autumn. It is a magical time of the riding season and trails you have ridden all season come alive with color.

Sandra Beaubien spends her time in Gatineau Park, on her Process 134 and Honzo CR, stopping frequently to enjoy the colors and views. As the leaves fall, old relics, like mining equipment, become more visible. Her favorite part of fall riding is seeing the blanket of colorful leaves covering the trail

Riding in the White Mountains, Derek Hines, took the time to appreciate the fall colors. For anyone living in a hilly region, it is common to take a photo as you are driving to the trailhead. Even if you ride those trails every week, it is jaw-dropping to see them full of color.  The combination of rock spines and big views was around every corner for Derek this autumn.

Jon Strom has the opposite approach to autumn riding – instead of taking it easy, he signed up for the Bluegrass Mountain Cup Enduro at Sugarcamp Mountain in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, and was having a blast sending it on his pre-ride of the course! What a stunning picture of bright leaves and bluebird skies!!!

Dean Liebau and his Ashley Rosemeyer enjoyed a variety of riding this fall in both Vermont and New York state.  The crunch of the leaves could be heard whether they were on a Process 134 or bikepacking on a Kona Rove.  It’s so easy to lose the trail when the leaves start to fall!

As the fall season comes to an end and the snow starts to blanket some regions, daylight is shorter and the crisp air makes for colorful sunsets in the early evening.  Whether stopping to take in the colors in the White Mountains of New Hampshire or the many lakes of Gatineau Park, it is always worth it to enjoy the magnificent colors surrounding you.
