This month I had the chance to take part with the Kona Bikes family at the 10thbiivouac enduro race that happened in Millau, France,  were teams of two get to face a 3 day adventure that involves pedaling, pushing bikes and descending full gas stages. I can say I didn’t expect to have this much fun, maybe it was the fact that things where so chilled out, so relaxed, the race was in an amazing venue at the middle of nowhere where you would be surrounded by the elements of nature and only, trees rivers mountains and a bit of French historical roads and buildings would be the only thing you would see.

The trails in Millau were so natural and I was happy because that’s what I have at home too, the rough terrain suited my kona process X so good I enjoyed gliding though the rough rocky sectios and speeding in the fast straights. The process gave me also a comfortable ride through the transitions, it let me loose my focus out there and admire the beauty of my surroundings.

My team consisted of my self and Tito Tomasi we worked grate together and enjoyed each others company and riding we also happened to be the fastest team of the 27 teams that took place in the race and at the end of the 3day event we got awarded with a big pice of delicious French cheese . It was amazing to meet and ride with French people, talk about life and difference in culture between our home country.

People participating in the race, volunteering or working for the race were all so welcoming and even if I didn’t speak the same language with some, communication was happening and I think I speak for everyone that was there three days, when I say we all had fun.

This 3 day event was one of the greatest adventures I have had on a bike and I would definitely love to come back;)
