Kona Ambassador Israel Carrillo lined up on the start line of an enduro event with a difference over the weekend. While the EDR/EWS has been known to throw in urban stages in their old prologue events, all four stages of the Guanajuato City event in Mexico last weekend were urban. Israel had to make sure his Process 153 DL survived the harsh city streets in the Ultimate Urban Enduro, which coincidently is the only 100% urban enduro in the world. The bike survived and as did Israel who finished mid-pack, “I eat more tacos than usual these days.”
