Darryl Renwick is the Inventory and Logistics manager at Full Cycle in Ottawa and he’s a big fan of the Honzo. At the end of June, he took delivery of this sexy Honzo DL frameset and went about putting this understated beauty together. Two weeks later the build was complete and this beautiful and very shreddable Honzo was ready to hit the trails.

Darryl opted for a mix of SRAM and Shimano for his drivetrain with SRAM Descendant cranks and chainring up front and a Shimano Deore XT rear mech and cassette out back. Oh and Darryl likes it slammed, that’s a 417mm chainstay length right there!
For the forks he’s opted for a set of Fox Performance 34’s
The carbon M9AM wheels are from Woven, a bespoke carbon wheel builder also based in Ottawa. For rubber, you’ll find a Schwalbe Nobby Nic out the back and a Magic Mary up front. Braking comes courtesy of Shimano’s always reliable XT stoppers.
A Race Face SixC carbon bar complete with matching Getta Grip grips kicks things off in the cockpit, anchored in place by a Race Face Turbine R stem, the whole setup spins freely on a Cane Creek Hell Bender headset. The saddle is a WTB Volt that sits atop an e*thirteen Vario 180mm dropper post.

Pedals are Kona Wah Wah composites in Black.
