Swedish enduro racer Alexander Kangas has had his fair share of ups and downs over the last few seasons of the EWS. As a privateer, it’s always a real battle without proper mechanical support, but when the stars align Alex is capable of some seriously fast stage times. A highlight of his 2018 season was finishing 23rd at the Montanes Du Caroux round, he would finish the 2018 season in 46th. Just weeks before the 2019 season begun and with snow still on the ground in his home country of Sweden he began putting together his dream bike. With the help of longtime sponsor Ohlins and newcomer FSA, he has built one very unique Process CR DL 29.

FSA’s brand new modular SLK 170mm cranks and a 32t chainring connect with an XT 11-speed cassette and rear mech.

It goes all the way to 11.

The wheels are FSA Gradient Wider29’s, the carbon hoops feature a 29mm wide internal diameter.

Suspension wise, you’ll find Öhlins TTX Air out back. The TTX Air features low-speed compression, and high-speed compression adjustmentss as well as adjustable rebound.

Up front Alexander is sporting Öhlin’s burly RXF36 in 170mm

FSA’s Flowtron 150mm dropper post and remote keep things out of the way on the steeps.

FSA’s Grid 35 20mm riser bar combined with the FSA Grid 50mm stem form the basis of the cockpit of the bike.

Shimano SLX’s shifters and Saint brakes are easy to work on reliable, perfect for the privateer racer.
