Out of nowhere last night, a dropbox link arrived in my inbox from Kona Ambassador Cole Pellerin, the title of the email “Northern Lights Process – Cole”. Intrigued, I downloaded and opened the folder to find these absolutely insane photos of an absolutely  EPIC Process Dream Build. I mean, even without the paint this bike is stunning, but that intricate Northern Lights inspired paint job just pushes this bike into  EPIC Dream Build territory.

I think we can really let the pictures do most of the talking on this one, but a quick round of the parts kicks off with these Race Face Atlas cranks and a Race Face steel direct mount 34t chainring.
Shifting is a SRAM GX 12 speed affair.
Cole is also a Marzocchi Ambassador and to that end this build is sporting a Bomber CR rear coil hock with a 550lbs Fox spring.
The rear shock is matched up front with this Marzocchi Bomber Z1 fork.
More race Face abounds in the cockpit. A Race Face alloy Atlas bar is held in place with a matching 35mm Atlas stem. Braking comes courtesy of SRAMS powerful Code RSC stoppers.
The bike rolls on a Race Face Turbine R wheelset and is shod in Maxxis a Maxxis Assegai up front and aa Minion DHR II out back.
A PNW components Loam Lever operates a matching PNW Components Bachelor dropper post.
Kona Wah Wah II alloy pedals round out the component side of the build. Now it’s time to ogle that paint!
