Mark’s Kona builds frequently find their way to our Kona Dream Builds pages and today’s Libre CR DL frame-up build should show you why. These are carefully selected parts, all absolutely perfect for their intended use, the sum of which, really is the bike our dreams. Mark did move some parts from his 2018 Rove LTD (also a frame-up build) but he has also added a whole slew of new parts too, like the cockpit and hoops.
Making things simple to type Mark has spec’d a Shimano 2x GRX 810 groupset.
The wheelset is from Industry Nine and is their Trail 270 model wrapped in WTB Sendero tires.
Up in the cockpit you’ll find Easton AX bars and an Easton EA90 stem, there’s also a funky Crank Brothers dropper lever which is connected to a One Up dropper post with a Fabric Scoop Radius saddle. TRP Spyre SLC brakes handle the stopping duties.
Oh how could we not mention the headset, it is the bulletproof Cane Creek Hellbender 70.
