UK Kona Ambassador Ben Gerrish somehow got his hands on a very early Process X. In typical UK fashion, he’s gone and outfitted this bike with some classic black Hope bits and pieces and really turned this bike into one heck of a dream build.
Hope’s CNC’d EVO crankset with a set of Hope F20 pedals kicks off the Process X upgrades.
Stopping is taken care of with a set of Hope Tech 3 levers…
Mated to Hope E4 four-piston calipers.

Ben has gone for a party in the back and opted for a 27.5″ rear wheel and a 29″ up front. The wheels are Hope Pro 4 EVO hubs laced to Hope Fortus 30 rims.

The cockpit keeps things UK based nut moves from Hope to Burgtec with their 38mm rise Josh Byrceland bar.
Hope’s AM stem in 35mm length keeps the bike pointed in the right direction.

ALL Kona bikes feature cable routing options for countries that drive on the left-hand side of the road. If you live in South Africa, UK, Australia, or New Zealand, we’ve got your back.

OneUp Components 210 V2 Dropper post gets Ben’s saddle way, way out of the way.
The Process X chainstay length can be adjusted to 435mm or 450mm to achieve either a playful or hard-charging ride. A flip-chip also allows you to run either a 29″ or 27/5″ rear wheel.
