Kona USA Warehouse Manager Joey Mewlewski sends it over the dirt spine mid-course.

If you’ve been paying attention to our social media, you may have noticed that during summer we enlisted the help of Kona Advocacy Ambassador and Trail Build Extrodanier Cody Wilkins to build a Dual Slalom Track. The track is located on Galbraith Mountain in our hometown of Bellingham and is nearing completion. Last week, before the weather turns to rain and freezing temperatures in the Pacific Northwest, we grabbed a bunch of our staff and headed into the woods for a shred, a hot dogs, and to get some wheels on dirt. Morale was high as sales staff, marketers, product managers, and logistics specialists raced each other, smashed berms, and sent it deep on the stall wall! We cannot wait to officially open this thing next spring once it is officially finished, and is bedded in – its gonna be so much fun!

Just another Friday in the office at Kona USA!

Kona USA Warehouse Manager Joey Melewski and Sales Support star Dustin Watson are caught in the of act of enjoying the fresh air.

As hard as it is to set down these beautiful bikes, a track walk is essential for warming up the body and stoke.

Shae James, Kona’s Global Marketer and who has been working on this project for a couple years now, finally gets to put tires to dirt. Clearly, she’s hyped.
