We sent Kerry Werner a Remote 160 DL to put to his own devices. First things first, he had to see how long the battery would last. This was a logical first step before shoving off on an epic backcountry route, which was next on his to do list.

So he loaded up and headed north from Roanoke, Va to Carvins Cove, a local trail network, regionally known for its backcountry feel but easy to navigate trail system. It has a mix of just about everything and it loops really well, which is perfect for testing bikes. If you missed it he was here this past December to test the contrast between “Clips Vs. Flats”.

With the loop in place, the bike fully charged, and an open afternoon the final thing to do was to ride until he couldn’t anymore. Or rather ride until the battery couldn’t anymore.
