And just like that the full 2022 Enduro World Series season is over. A number of Super Grassroots riders have dropped in over the course of the season, with Miranda Miller racing four events. This past weekend saw the final round hit Loudenvielle in France and with it the wetness. Rain turned the roots and dark dirt into unpredictable and sloppy conditions that definitely took a few names over the weekend and Kona’s riders were not immune, with Carlos Langelaan and Alexis Roukens struggling to find flow.

“Loudenvielle was such a nice race, the tracks were super challenging with some big jumps, transfers and super loamy turns! I had the best fun on it during practice! The riding was fast and clean! Unfortunately, race day didn’t go as planned… Had a weird pace in stage 2, which was hard to recover from in the others with a big crash in stage 5. Nevertheless, I had such good fun racing here in Loudenvielle and I know the points to work on; finding my «race mode switch» to be as confident in race runs as I am during practice! On to Finale now for the Trophy of Nations, love the fast and rough tracks here! So Stoked! ” – Alexis Roukens

“A was feeling really good in practice with some nice dusty fast tracks. The rain made the tracks a little trickier and didn’t get the result I was hoping for. In the end though, the riding was some good fun.” – Carlos Langelaan

“They were almost Belgian conditions for the last round of this EWS season with heavy mud, a lot of wet roots, and slippery stones. Managed to find more and more confidence throughout the day and signed my best result so far, finishing in 89th position.
I’m now in Finale for the last E-EWS and the Trophy of Nations, where I’m reservist for team Belgium” – Jonas Demuylder
