Sometimes it’s good to switch things up a bit, aim for the thick covering of pine needles rather than the usual well-worn rut. We went to ride one of Dunkelds most well-known corners but took the scenic route to get there, and at this time of year, it was certainly scenic. Is there any better time of year to ride than when the leaves are changing? I don’t think so. The temperature has certainly dropped so it is prudent to prepare for the worst weather-wise but every so often you get one of these magical bonus days.

The sun might not come out as often but when it does you are in for a treat, the unity of a low sun and Autumnal hues is pretty damn hard to beat.
