Ski’s on a bike? Why would you ever?

Being able to strap your skis on your bike can be very useful! Maybe you live next to the ski hill and want to avoid driving. Possibly you’re on an epic bike/ski touring multi-day trip! More commonly, you’re a backcountry skier that wants to access terrain miles down a forest road. Whatever your reason, this is what I’ve found to be the simplest method to strapping skis to a bike. There are multiple methods out there, some incorporating unnecessary/expensive bags. With this method, you really only need two rubber ski straps (a rack and panniers are a plus).
