Blake‘s Process 153 CR DL 29 like many others, came to our attention via our Instagram feed, and damn are we glad it did, this bike is super cool. It’s not the most flash Process 153 we’ve ever seen but it’s a great example of how to build a dialed dream bike without well and truly breaking the bank.  “I wanted to build up a unique bike to spark my passion for bikes again, and I also wanted a bike to race gravity enduro on.”

Kalamunda Cycles in Perth, Western Australia got the frame in for Blake and then built up the finished bike from scratch.

Everyone always loves a red fork right, I mean there are faster. Blake thought so and opted for a 170mm Lyrik Ultimate for his build. The rear shock is stock. For wheels, he opted for a DT Swiss E1700 wheelset complete with DT350 hubs. the wheels are shod in Maxxis rubber, a 2.5″ Minion DHF DD upfront and a 2.4 Dissector DH rear tire.

The drivetrain is a Shimano affair, with the new XT 12-speed groupset handling shiting duties.

There’s more Shimano XT goodness in the braking department too.

A Deity Black Label bar is mounted to a 31.8 40mm stem from Contoltech nd the whole build is rounded out with 180mm OneUP V2 seatpost.
