Coles Honzo ST named Jerry is properly fitting of a dream build post. Cole first laid eyes on the Honzo in 2020 after getting his first mountain bike stolen. He tracked down a frame in 2021 after hitting up every dealer within driving distance. Luckily Eau Shift let him know they had recently been down to Bluedog Cycles and knew they had one. Cole called and got it ordered up (delivered a week after his birthday!), then went to work building it up.
The drivetrain covers almost the entirety of SRAM’s MTB line, just missing a touch of X01 or AXS. On this build we see SX cranks, NX Eagle cassette, GX Eagle shifter & derailleur, and an XX1 chain.
Up front Cole is running Raceface Atlas 35 “Kashmoney” 765mm bars, Raceface Grippers Gum, and Raceface Turbine R 50 stem.
The dropper is a Fox Transfer 125, conjoined with a WTB Volt Saddle.
The rest of the build is finished off with a Cedaero Wedgie bag for a bit of flare.
