This is my 2021 Kona Hei Hei CR/DL. I got this bike for the more xc-oriented terrain here in the North Texas area. I’m in love with the blue color and the geometry that this bike has. It made it an easy decision for my home trails.
The bike is fitted with SRAM GX Eagle drive train with stiff XX1 carbon cranks matched with Crankborthers Candy 1 Pedals.
Crankbrothers Cigar Tool Plug Kit and CO2 Head fitted to downtube for quick access to fix flats.
Raceface Next carbon Bars cut down to 760mm
Factory Fox 34 Step Cast fork with Fit 4 Damper to shed some weight.
I9 Hydra hubs with muck-off oil slick Valves. The instant engagement is a must and oil slick is always a nice touch.
Orange Diety seatpost clamp matched to 125mm Fox Transfer Dropper.
One up Threadless EDC tool with Orange accented spacers. The EDC tool is on all my bikes and puts my mind at ease knowing my multitool is always with me.
The whole thing rolls on a Raceface Turbine R30 Wheelset with Vault Hubs, the rotors are heat dispersing two-piece TRP rotors. The final pieces of the puzzle are a WTB Rocket 142mm Titanium rail saddle and the 2021 Fox Transfer 150mm dropper that it sits atop of.
