Dominic and Judi LoPresti are the husband and wife team that makeup Spun Cycles, and they have a love for building custom one-off bikes for their customers. This Honzo ST, built for their Customer Dylan Plummer, is an exercise in restraint and the resulting spec ensures that Dylan’s Honzo is most definitely a baller on the perfect budget.
The drivetrain is SRAM’s bulletproof mechanical GX groupset, complete with anodized Jagwire Elite Link Cable Housing.
For front suspension duties, Dylan and the team at Spun chose a 140mm Fox Factory Float 34 Fork.
Halo Vortex Rims are laced to Profile hubs and the wheels are both shod with a tan wall Maxxis Ardents.
Up in the cockpit, it’s a mostly Deity affair, a Highside 80mm rise handlebar is held in place by a Copperhead stem. It all all spins on a Hope headset.
Slowing things down is taken care of with set of Hope Tech 4 E4 brakes and matching Hope floating rotors.
The build is finished off with a KS Lev Integra Dropper Post.
