Kona Super Grassroots rider Leopald Erhardt had his first event of the year last weekend, the “Dirtbattle Vienna”, a hommage to the legendary Vienna Airking events. Leo said it was an amazing experience to ride in front of Vienna’s City Hall, the famous Vienna Rathaus.
The conditions were very tough. Between wind and snow, the invited riders had to get a high jump and best trick contest going. The level of riding was insanely high but Leo managed to share the best style podium with good buddy Lucas Huppert, stomping a bunch of stylish super flips and supermans.
Leo also cleared the 7.5 m (24.6 ft) mark in the high jump comp surprising himself with fourth place.
“All in all, it was a super sick weekend to ride in front of a big crowd after all the Covid stress. I hope these times are over.”
