When it comes to mountain bike destinations, Albuquerque rarely seems to be on riders radar. But with hundreds of miles of maintained trails, diverse terrain, and low traffic it deserves a spot on any mountain bikers list. Local Albuquerque rider and Kona Ambassador Andrew Clickscales showcases his unique riding style on Sandia foothills trail system that is right in the backyard of those living on the east side of town. From flowing singletrack on the decomposing granite “kitty litter” to technical black diamond features punctuated by cholla cactus, Andrew navigates it all on his trusty Process 153.
