After The Leadville 100, Kerry Werner’s jumped in the Bike Flights van and hightailed it to Pennsylvania for the Transylvanian Gravel Epic. “It was four days of ripping through three state forests and an amazing network of gravel roads. I took GC lead on day one and kept the pressure on to take all four stages and the overall win”

After training at altitude for the past four weeks Kerry felt like a hero riding at sea level “Honestly, I need to go to altitude and come back to sea level more often. I wanted redemption for my Leadville effort and I got it.”

For Kerry, taking the win of the Transylvanian Gravel Epic meant that he had captured all three East Coast stage race victories in one year! Pisgah in April, The Transylvanian Epic in May, and the TSE Gravel in August.
