Wikipedia tells me that Wheat Ridge in Colorado was a popular rest stop in the 1850’s Gold Rush. These days though, it seems that thanks to Rhythm Cycles you can actually strike gold here. Rhythm specializes in building custom superbikes and thisĀ Process X CR is no exception. In fact, this bike sold less than a week after being built. Rhythm is in the middle of building a custom Process X CR DL right now, so keep an eye on their website and social media and that bike could well be yours!

The drivetrain on this beauty is built around a SRAM 170mm XX1 crankset (spinning on a SRAM DUB BB), The chainring is a 32t oval ring from Absolute Black. The matching XX1 chain connects to a 10-52 SRAM XX1 Lunar rear cassette and matching derailleur, a OneUp chain guide ensures that the chain ain’t going anywhere.
Up front, you’ll find a Fox 38 Factory Grip2 Damper 170mm fork. The front wheel is NOBL TR 37 carbon rim laced to Industry Nine Hydra front hub with Sapim Race spokes. The front wheel is shod with a Maxxis Minion DHF EXO+ 3C 29×2.5.
Staying up the front, the cockpit is anchored with a One Up Carbon 35mm rise bar, held in place by n Industry Nine A35 stem. ODI Ruffian lock-on’s and Shimano Saint brake levers complete the package.
There’s more NOBL and Industry Nine Hrdra goodness out the back, as well as a set of powerful Shimano Saint stoppers and a pair of Shimano XT Icetech 203mm rotors.
The rear shock is also from Fox and is a DPX2 Performance Elite while the rear wheel is shod with Maxxis Aggressor 27.5×2.5 DD DC.
And the whole build is finished off with a Fox Factory 150mm dropper post mated to a Wolftooth lever
and topped with a Ti SDG saddle.
