Kona Super Grassroots rider, Heiko Krause, from Northern British Columbia, built up another stunning Kona Dream Build. Heiko adds flair with some DEITY bike bits yet trusts most of the parts which come on the stock build, and it’s all built around the sturdy chassis of a Kona Remote 160. The remote, which is Kona’s gravity focused electric mountain bike, has been featured a few times recently on this page, particularly because riders have been overly excited to ride them and then chose to share their fresh bike builds with us.

Krause said to us, “I have always loved the way that Kona has impacted the mountain bike world and I am so excited to be a part of the team.”

Running a nice, low stack and the 31.8mm DEITY Copperhead Stem…

…DEITY BLACKLABEL bars with 35mm rise, ODI Elite Pro Graphite grips, and the top tier SRAM brake set, Code RSC.

Heiko rocks with the SRAM X01 AXS drivetrain and adds even more style with the subtle red pulley on the X01 derailleur, and SRAM XX1 copper color chain. Choosing the RockShox Reverb dropper and DIETY Saddle. Rolling on the WTB ST i30 hoops with Formula hubs.

Rounding out Heiko’s Dream Build is the spec Shimano E7000 motor, RockShox Super Deluxe shock, and RockShox Zeb fork. Heiko also rolls with the DH casing Maxxis DHR II rear tire, and the double-down casing Maxxis Assegai front tire.

Thanks for sharing your dream e-bike build with us Heiko. Enjoy all the more riding on it!
